After the parties Friday night and Saturday night and the haunted house tonight, I keep forgetting that Halloween itself hasn't actually passed. Dan said something about wanting to go trick-or-treating but...I think I'd feel stupid. Maybe if we had a group to go with or something it'd be okay, but we don't.

That reminds me, I should dig out my "spooktacular" shirt to wear to work tomorrow. I only have like 10 hours this week (unless shipment takes longer than scheduled) but on the flipside I get Friday and Saturday off. Does anyone know of anything exciting going on either day? Though maybe I could take the opportunity to sit home and get stuff done around here.

I've been feeling sort of blah and tired lately. I couldn't figure out last night why I was so tired at 10pm, then I realized that at that time it'd usually be 11pm, thanks to daylight savings...still getting used to that I guess. I'm pretty tired again tonight, even though it's only 10 again, but I think I'm gonna force myself to get some homework done before I cave in and go to bed.

I dyed my hair. It's darker now. Pic on myspace if you care to see it.

I've been really busy. But thanks to my two jobs, I'm actually starting to have just a little bit of extra money. The homework is being loaded on though, I'm starting to get a little concerned about that. I don't even want to think about what all I have to do, even just in the near future.

So I won't.

So I don't know if it's even worth having a Halloween party, as no one will commit to coming or even give me a straight answer when I ask them if they can.

If you don't want to come, just say so. I'd like to have a party here, since we always have to go to everyone else's; I thought it'd be a nice change...Maybe not. People need to let me know what's going on so I know if it's even worth trying to organize something.

In light of recent developments, Dan and I are looking into having our own Halloween party the night before Cherie and Ren's. If we do, how many of you would come? It'd be Friday night, the 27, here at our apartment. There will be places for people to sleep if you want to stay, and if Mt Pleasant people come down (which they SHOULD, considering we've come up there for the last 2938746 events) we can head back up as a group Saturday for party number two.

Costume will be mandatory, of course. I plan on doing some decorating around the apartment anyway, and will probably buy candy and other snacky things (byob, if you want to drink).

So there it is. And just in time for those of you who need to give retarded 3-week notices at work.

Oh, I can't wait for the weekend. I get most of Saturday and all of Sunday off from work. A whole day and a half where I don't have to do anything! Except homework, that is. Blah.

Last weekend Saturday was Erich and Erin's wedding. They told us Dow Gardens in the invitations; the day of the wedding it was all rainy, so they moved it to the banquet center where they were having their reception WITHOUT EVEN TELLING US. So Dan and I drove to Midland, then all the way back, and missed the first half of the actual wedding and walked in in the middle. After the wedding we had a 1.5 hour gap before the receptionn (which turned into a 3 hour gap - the wedding party didn't come back til after 6pm). The reception was a lot of fun though; Matt and Jon showed up and we sat with Gavin and his g/f Shay. They all drank and I stole the cherries from Matt's and Jon's drinks. And flashed them (with my camera, that is. ;P)

And of course, being at a wedding made me think of my own potential future wedding. Anna and I talked about who would be in our wedding parties. I said her for sure, probably as my maid of honor, and my older little sister as one of the bridesmaids (the younger little sister would be the flower girl, of course). Beyond that, it was hard for me to decide...I don't have that many close female friends. I told Anna that I'll end up having to put Jeff in a dress so he can be on my side of the aisle, lol.

I've got an indefinite amount of time to figure it out though. I guess I should start making more girl friends in the meantime, haha.
