24 days to go, and things keep getting more and more complicated. Dan is coming up for the weekend that I graduate though, which is pretty cool. And I'm thinking of committing some sort of celebratory act in honor of said graduation on Dec. 13th for anyone who might be interested; I have no idea where yet. But I only have to attend class 6 more days and that brings me great joy. :P

And it's getting to the point where it wouldn't be retarded of me to set up the Christmas tree. I just have to decide where I want it for sure. And get out there and buy some presents to go under it. 37 days left to accomplish that one. I need to get moving! Which means I should stop procrastinating here.

I'm trying to think of anything worth talking about that I've been doing the last week or so. Class, work, homework...hanging out with Caleb and Elaine from time to time... who are now engaged, which is pretty exciting for them... Oh yes. And we went bowling with Paul and his brother Tim on Wednesday night. That was fun; I actually got 3 strikes in a row (without the bumpers up) which is pretty much the best I've ever done and probably ever will do. Then Friday night Cherie called me so we took her bowling, where I did significantly worse than before. We blame the disco ball and laser lights (rock n bowl, wee!). I'm going to have to get in touch with her more often though. I need to associate with more female friends. All the testosterone from my guy friends is getting to be too much. :P

November has arrived, which brings me down to 40 days until graduation. I went and got my cap, tassel and gown last Wednesday... I should probably get them out of the back of my car and hang them up. I calculated, and I only have to attend class 12 more times, including exams. Woo!

Uh... I was a flapper for Halloween, and my costume turned out pretty cool. I bought a dress from a thrift store and added the fringe myself, then made a little matching bag to go with it. I got the boa, the feather for my hair, everything. It was pretty sweet... That's what I've spent the majority of my free time working on the last week or so. Now I need a new project. I need to start working on Christmas presents; that time is rapidly approaching (53 days, if you want to start the countdown now).

In honor of Halloween, we went to Caleb and Elaine's on Friday for dinner and hung out for awhile, then went to Scott's Halloween party afterward. Of the like... 15 people there, there were like five dressed up, including us. Lame. We left kinda early though because I was tired and we didn't really know many people there.

Saturday night we went downtown to the party hosted by the Red Eye, that was a pretty good time... Spiked apple cider and Jell-o shots galore. But the deejay played weird music that wasn't much good for dancing, which was disappointing. Significantly more people were dressed up for this one though, so I didn't feel out of place. I got a few pictures posted on Facebook and Myspace.

Exciting news; my mom asked me what I wanted for a graduation present and I said, "a laptop," not really expecting her to go for it. But she said, "What brand? I was thinking a flat-screen TV." I said, "That'd be cool, but I'd probably use a laptop more." and she said, "Well, let me know." SWEET! So now I get to go laptop shopping. That's probably how I will procrastinate on doing my homework today. Dan's sister Mel told me she'd rent me a hall to throw me a party and Jerry (her husband - the deejay at Josh's wedding, if anyone was wondering) would deejay for me. Lol I don't plan on holding her to that, but it'd be pretty sweet nonetheless. How much does it cost to rent a hall? I haven't the faintest. I told her I'd bring the Kahlua and milk and she's got the vodka and the ice. :P

Also, I think my stepmom and dad are going to buy me a car new stereo for Christmas, so I should be totally set (if I can make it another 53 days without music... not having to pay for it is a pretty good incentive though). Lol the laptop and the new car stereo are pretty much the only things I need/want...besides plane tickets to somewhere warm. But I guess that's asking a little too much. :P
